IMPLEMENTATION OF THE DIGITAL SIGNATURE IN MOLDOVA WILL BE EXAMINED DURING THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE.
Implementation of the digital signature in the Republic of Moldova will be examined during the 4th international conference “BIT+ “Information technologies”. The forum will be held on 11-13 April in Chisinau under the patronage of the Ministry of Information Development.
Alexandru Donos, General Director of the Special Communications Center, told during the press conference, that the participants to the Forum will discuss issues, related to the normative, legal and technical aspects of the digital signature implementation in Moldova, mentioning that 2006 will be a decisive year in the process of the implementation of the digital signature.
Vladimir Molojen, the Minister of Information Development, made clear, that “BIT+” conference is a unique one, because it contributes to the implementation of information technologies in such spheres as state administration, science, business, social sphere. Information technologies are being implemented in all these spheres in order to build and develop the information society.
Boris Prepelita, Executive Director of the public institution “MoldInfoNet” said that “Information technologies in banking” subsection will work this year for the first time within the framework of the conference. In this field information technologies play a significant role and give the possibility to harmonize the national banking sphere with the international standards.
More than 15 Moldovan and international institutions and companies, which work in the field of information technologies, systems of communications security, creation of portals and antivirus systems, announced their participation in the conference. Such countries as Germany, Russia, the USA and Ukraine have also confirmed their readiness to participate in the conference.
